Man sieht viel Wüste und Urwald und eine Sequenz spielt sogar unter der Erde.
In einer der wenigen Gewaltszenen wird einer Katze ein Ohr abgebissen, dafür sieht man viele nackte Jungs die ihre Erektionen in den Himmel strecken und sich sehr darüber freuen.
Das Auto in welchem der Film zum Grossteil spielt wird auch immer schöner. Ausserdem ist es oft kaputt, was zu sehr pittoresken Szenen in mexikanischen Werkstätten führt.
Gegessen und getrunken wird auch in dem Film. Es wird auch geliebt, getanzt, geschwommen und geschlafen. Und seltsamerweise wechselt das Auto permanent die Farbe.
Worum es in dem Film wirklich geht lässt sich eigentlich nicht sagen, aber er ist trotzdem sehr schön.

Grand marquis still remains a beautiful film.
The viewer gets to see a lot of desert, jungle, and one sequence even takes place below ground.
One of the very few violence scenes shows a cat having it’s ear bitten off, in return the viewer sees many naked guys who stick their erected penises into the sky.
The car, in which most of the film scenes are set, is always more beautiful.
In addition the car is often broken, which leads to such picturesque scenes as Mexican workshops.
There are also many scenes in which people are eating and drinking. The scenes also portray people making love, dancing, swimming and sleeping. Miraculously the car permanently changes its colour.
The film’s leitmotiv is not really identifiable, but anyhow it is very nice.
